COMMUNITY WATER SUPPLY APPEAL
"CENTER">
The Centre for Reconstruction and Development is currently working in Mbaw Plain, where we are carrying out feasibility studies and designing rural water supply projects, covering the community in Donga / Mantung Division. This is a region with a high prevalent rate of water related diseases resulting from scarcity and bad quality of drinking water. Mbaw Plain is a community situated within the coordinates of latitude 6°N and longitude 12°E in a derived Savanna.
CREDEV is appealing to donors to support our efforts aimed at improving the health of this community to decrease the impact of water related diseases with clean and safe drinking water. Most streams dry-off during 5 months of the dry season in which instance; people drink together with cattle on transhumance from stand-ponds or the few flowing streams. It is for this reason that we are planning Mbaw community water supplies to avert the prevalence of water-related diseases in this community and save lives. Read more on Programmes page
